ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ANNOUNCED COST CONTAINMENT MEASURES 2009

To navigate and weather the current economic crisis and emerge stronger, SAP management has made the decision to initiate a broader cost-reduction program that includes an elimination of positions. SAP will continue to reinforce cost-saving measures with the goal to preserve as many job positions as possible. The proposed position eliminations are necessary to safeguard the best interests of all stakeholders.
