Tim Ebbeck

President and Chief Executive Officer, SAP Australia & New Zealand

Tim joined SAP in 2003 as Chief Financial and Commercial Officer for SAP ANZ; in 2005 his role was expanded to Chief Operating Officer.

In January 2007, Tim was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for SAP across Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role, Tim led the regional deal crafting and commercial development team, and lead strategic planning and execution.

Tim has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. He joined SAP from TMP Worldwide where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that Tim was CFO for Compaq Computer and Investment Director at Compaq's Venture Capital Fund. Tim has also held senior executive roles at Unisys, Tandem Computers, and GEC ALSTHOM Australia Limited.

VP Strategic Industries and Enterprise

Ian took on the role as Vice President, Strategic Industries and Accounts in January 2011, responsible for SAP’s larger, complex customers across three core strategic industries: State and Local Government, Financial Services, and Energy & Resources.

Previously, Ian held the position of Chief Operating Office for SAP ANZ and prior to that, Managing Director for SAP New Zealand. During his time at SAP he has been responsible for the development of a number of business areas, including starting and running SAP New Zealand in 1994 and developing a very successful Financial Services division for SAP Australia.

Allan Fairhurst

VP, Chief Client Officer

Based in Melbourne, Allan Fairhurst is responsible for driving new strategic initiatives for long term revenue growth. As VP, Chief Client Officer, Alan leads a team that focuses on key licence transactions and helps to drive innovation and transformation agenda in the market and with key clients.

Allan joined SAP in September 2004 as General Manager for the Southern region. In 2007, he moved into the role of Vice President, Large Enterprise and in beginning of 2008 moved into the role of VP Strategic Sales.

Prior to joining SAP, Allan held a variety of senior management and sales positions in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada and USA.

Chief Financial Officer

Richard is currently the Chief Financial Officer of SAP Australia and New Zealand, leading an organization of approximately 40 staff across Core Finance, Legal & Contracts, Facilities, Purchasing and IT. Before joining SAP in May 2008, Richard held a number of senior Finance positions in the APJ IT sector, initially with Peoplesoft and more recently, Microsoft. Richard was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and studied in Dundee, Scotland. He then spent 12 years working in the UK in the Investment Banking (Merrill Lynch) and the Automotive (Unipart) industries, before relocating to Australia in 2003.

Graeme Riley

Managing Director, SAP New Zealand

Graeme Riley took on the role of Managing Director, SAP New Zealand in January 2009. Graeme joined SAP from Infor where he was VP Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. He was responsible for Infor's strategic solutions and channels businesses across the region.

Graeme has extensive enterprise software experience, a successful track record in leading software businesses throughout Asia Pacific and deep knowledge of the New Zealand market.

Andrew leads the HR Team which is responsible for supporting SAP's business and enabling the success of the organisation through its human capital. This involves recruiting and retaining top talent, developing and leading employee engagement and building leadership readiness through career development plans.

Andrew has proven expertise in all aspects of strategic consulting in Canada and the United States across a wide range of industries including IT, Retail and Hospitality. A skilled change agent, he has the ability to create new practices and assist in execution of action plans to achieve the desired end state. Prior to joining SAP Australia Andrew was the HR Lead for SAP's Mergers and Acquisitions team for the past 3 years.

Mark Hettler

Director, Active Global Support

Mark is responsible for SAP‘s support and maintenance business, which services customers and their SAP products in the ANZ region. This role includes the additional responsibility of both SAP‘s proactive support service and the company‘s premium maintenance activities, including supporting customers during software upgrades.

Mark and his team of 48 work closely with customers to improve the efficiency and stability of their SAP environments, which benefits customers by helping them leverage and maximise their investments in SAP systems.

Mark first joined SAP in 2006 as Active Global Performance Centre of Expertise (CoE) Manager. Prior to joining SAP, he worked with IBM Global Business Services for over eight years.

Mark has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years and has previously worked in global and national institutions such as BHP Billiton, Lend Lease and the Australian Taxation Office.

Helen Masters

VP, Commercial Accounts and Emerging Markets

Helen Masters was appointed VP, Commercial Accounts and Emerging Markets in January 2011. In her role she is responsible for Inside Sales, our Channel Business, Customer Relationship Management, and Line of Business Sales.

Previously, Helen held the position of General Manager, Growth Markets ANZ, with dual responsibility for the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio of products; and for growing SAP's market share in the SME sector through the SAP channel partner network across ANZ.

Prior to her role at SAP, Helen spent three and half years working as Northern Regional Sales Director at BusinessObjects. Previously, Helen worked at Computer Associates (CA) for nearly 10 years. During her time with CA she had a number of senior sales management and channel roles.

Helen has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Macquarie University.

Shane Grobler

Chief Operating Officer

As a Chief Operation Officer, Shane is responsible for driving our operational capability encompassing sales operations, inside sales, marketing, value engineering, ecosystem and solutions.

Previously, Shane has led the pre-sales team, and held positions, such as Account Executive and Sales Manager. He has been with SAP in both Australia and South Africa for almost 15 years and brings outstanding experience to the company.

Steve Thompson
Steve Thompson,
General Manager, ACT and Federal Government

Steve is responsible for managing multi-disciplinary areas of SAP including sales and presales, marketing, resources and administration for Federal Government clients and the ACT branch. In his current role, Steve‘s main objective is to build business relationships with Federal Government and ACT clients, while continuing to leverage SAP products and services in the region.

Steve is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from the University of New South Wales. He studied at the Royal Military College, Duntroon and served in the Australian Defence Force Army for 10 years.
